William SMART was born about 1805 and was baptised on 26 January 1806 in Moulton, Northamptonshire, England. He married Sarah WILLSON on 11 November 1830 in Moulton, Northamptonshire, England and died in January 1853 in Christchurch, New Zealand. Sarah WILLSON was born on 28 August 1810 and baptised on 7 October 1810 in Long Buckby, Northamptonshire, England to William WILLSON and Elizabeth. She died on 28 July 1873 in Christchurch, New Zealand.

William and Sarah had fourteen children:

William SMART and his wife Sarah Page

William SMART was baptised on 8 March 1778 in Bozeat, Northamptonshire, son of Matthew SMART, and Elizabeth DEACON.  He married Sarah PAGE in Moulton, Northamptonshire, England on 11 November 1799.  William and Sarah had six children that we know off.:

• Thomas SMART was baptised on 19 April 1801 in Moulton, Northamptonshire. He married Ann TANNER on 17 November 1825. They had ten children.

• Anne SMART was baptised on 13 February 1803 in Moulton, Northamptonshire and was buried in the same place on 5 April 1803.

• William SMART was baptised on 26 January 1806 in Moulton, Northamptonshire and was buried on 17 January 1853 in the Barbadoes Street Cemetery in Christchurch, New Zealand. He married Sarah WILLSON on 11 November 1830 in Moulton, Northamptonshire. They had fourteen children.

• Anne SMART was baptised on 20 November 1808 in Moulton, Northamptonshire and was buried in the same place on 24 May 1809.

• Elizabeth SMART was baptised on 17 June 1810 in Moulton, Northamptonshire. She married Benjamin WALKER on 15 March 1826.

• Charlotte SMART was born about 1812 and married Samuel BARWICK on 12 November 1832.

Thomas SMART

Thomas SMART was baptised on 19 April 1801 in Moulton, Northamptonshire to William SMART and Sarah PAGE. He married Ann TANNER on 17 November 1825.

Ann TANNER was baptised on 19 May 1805 in Moulton, Northamptonshire.

They had ten children:

• Thomas SMART was born about 1826 and died about 1831.

• Mary Ann SMART was baptised on 10 May 1829.

• Mary SMART was baptised on 10 May 1832 in Moulton, Northamptonshire and married George JAMES.

• Thomas Tanner SMART was born on 7 October 1832 in Moulton, Northamptonshire and married Ann PETTIT on 18 October 1855. They had eleven children.

• Maria SMART was baptised on 10 May 1834.

• Maria Laughton SMART was baptised on 26 July 1835 in Moulton, Northamptonshire.

• Downing SMART was baptised on 15 May 1837 in Moulton, Northamptonshire and married Jane PICKFORD on 15 July 1857. They had nine children.

• Jane SMART was baptised on 15 May 1842 in Moulton, Northamptonshire.

• Hezekiah SMART was baptised on 14 October 1846 in Moulton, Northamptonshire and married Caroline ROBERTS about 1864.

• William SMART was baptised on 6 April 1849.

Thomas Tanner SMART

Thomas Tanner SMART was born on 7 October 1832 in Moulton, Northamptonshire and married Ann PETTIT on 18 October 1855.

Ann PETTIT was born about 1837 in Overstone, Northamptonshire.

They had eleven children:

• Julia SMART was born about July 1856 and was baptised on 8 October 1856.

• William SMART was born about 1858.

• Mary Ann SMART was born about 1859 and baptised on 18 December 1863.

• Selina Pettit SMART was born about August 1859 and baptised on 28 August 1859. She married George PARKER about October 1889.

• Elizabeth SMART was born about 1861.

• Henrey Pettit SMART was born about June 1862 and baptised on 14 September 1862.

• Henry Pettit SMART was born about September 1865 and baptised on 27 May 1866.

• Charles SMART was born about June 1867 and baptised on 4 December 1867.

• Ann SMART was baptised on 31 october 1869 in Moulton, Northamptonshire.

• Emma SMART was born on 4 August 1872 and married James T. F. BATES about February 1894.

• Sarah Ann SMART was born about September 1875 and baptised on 4 November 1875.

Wiliam PAGE and his wife Ann WARREN

William PAGE was born about 1740, and baptised on 9 February 1741 in West Haddon in Northamptonshire, son of Wiliam PAGE and Elizabeth SPOOKES.  He died about 1823, and was buried 12 February 1823 in Moulton, Northampton.

His wife Ann was born about 1743 in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and buried on 23 January 1822 in Moulton, Northamptonshire.  

William PAGE married Ann WARREN on 10 June 1773 in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

• Sarah PAGE was baptised on 4 October 1773 in Moulton, Northamptonshire, England and was buried on 25 January 1833. She married William SMART in Moulton, Northampton on 11 November 1799. They had six known children.

• Elizabeth PAGE was baptised on 18 September 1775 in Moulton, Northampton.

• Elizabeth PAGE was baptised on 12 November 1776 in Moulton, Northampton.

• Anne PAGE was baptised on 27 October 1777 in Moulton, Northampton.

Matthew SMART and Elizabeth DEACON

Matthew SMART was baptised 14 February 1748 in Bozeat, Northampton, son of William SMART and Judith BAYES.  

Matthew's first marriage was to Mary DRAPER on 13 October 1766 in Bozeat, Northamptonshire.  Mary died around 1775, and was buried 26 December 1775 in Bozeat, Northamptonshire.

There are four children from this marriage:

• John SMART, baptised 28 February 1768 in Bozeat, Northamptonshire.

• Hannah SMART, baptised 4 November 1770 in Bozeat, Northamptonshire.

• John SMART, baptised 23 February 1772 in Bozeat, Northamptonshire.

• William SMART, baptised 12 November 1775 in Bozeat, Northamptonshire.  He was buried 24 November 1775

Matthew then married Elizabeth DEACON on 4 May 1777 in Bozeat, Northamptonshire, four children from this marriage that we know off:

• William SMART, baptised 8 March 1778 in Bozeat, Northamptonshire.

• Judith SMART, baptised 28 November 1779 in Bozeat, Northamptonshire.

• Ann SMART, baptised 17 September 1785 in Bozeat, Northamptonshire.

• Mary SMART, baptised 31 August 1788 in Bozeat, Northamptonshire.
